Aromatherapy using pure essential oils for 12 Step Recovery - body, mind, spirit healing

Natural Serenity was formed by two best friends in 12 step recovery. We started learning about aromatherapy and aromacology (Aromacology is the art of using essential oils to balance mind, mood and emotion) to help overcome some of the many obstacles we faced in early recovery like depression, anxiety and restlessness. We have also developed blends to help with our meditation, seeking a more conscious contact with a Higher Power. We would like to share with you what we have learned. Whatever you are trying to recover from: addiction, alcoholism, compulsive gambling, co-dependency, etc., aromatherapy can help. Of course you should always be under the care of a qualified physician for any of these problems. Our products ARE NOT designed to replace traditional therapies, only to complement them.

We started out purchasing small quantities of therapeutic grade essential oils, reading up on how each one was used to help the body, mind and spirit. We extensively studied both aromatherapy and aromacology to find the best ways to cope with stress, anxiety, insomnia and depression that come during early recovery. Then we started designing our very own blends to aid us in our recovery. Once we started this process we were hooked!

Our goal is to help you in your recovery. Recovery is not easy... however, it doesn't have to be a struggle either. The mind works very much like a computer; garbage in, garbage out. Limiting the amount of negativity we are all bombarded with on a daily basis (i.e.. the news, I personally recommend turning off the TV altogether) and then surrounding yourself with positive influences. We used aromatherapy, meditation, sound therapy, and the psychology of color.
